Exotissimo photo contest

How can we talk about Thailand without mentioning Thai food? Cooking is part of the culture, it’s an art. But, if you want to understand the Thai heritage, you have to start at the beginning: the fresh markets. It’s for sharing our passion for the market place that Exotissimo is glad to invite you to participate to our unique photo contest.

If you love art, if you are fond of photography, if you feel lost without your camera, or if you just want to understand the market’s life, this contest is for you.

From the 5th February to the 24th March, you are invited to take pictures on the theme “Thai Local Fresh Market”. Free your imagination and become an artist. 

Until the 8th April, you are welcome to pass by our Nanglinchi branch, to drop off your 2 or 3 favorite pictures that you will have printed in an A3 format. Our special jury will appoint the winner of a Thai cooking lesson at the famous Blue Elephant School, and during April, all your piece of arts will be exposed in our Nanglinchee branch.

In order to show you our best market selection, Exotissimo is pleased to invite you to complimentary excursions. During 3 mornings, a minivan will wait for you at Nanglinchi and will bring you to amazing markets. The guide will show you the best area to visit and will wait for you at the bus to give you some time to capture ephemeral moments.


* 25th February, “Bangkok tasty treats”(half day)

* 12th March, “Damnoen Saduack & Rail track market” (half day)

* 21st March, “An old world charm”(full day)


The only thing that you have to do to enjoy those excursions is to book and to print your favorite picture!

Prizes: First of all, the best picture will be on the cover of the April Enews letter, sent to more than 4,000 persons. Then, to congratulate the winner, Exotissimo will offer a complimentary Thai cooking lesson at the great Blue Elephant School of a value of 3,200 THB!
